👩‍🍳 Chalet Hotel Chef de Partie at Ski Famille

Description: Join Ski Famille as a Chalet Hotel Chef de Partie. Guided by our Head Chef and Sous Chefs, you'll assist in delivering high-quality meals to all our hotel guests. You will work with senior chefs, other chefs de partie, a commis chef, and kitchen porters. Our goal is to exceed guests' culinary expectations while managing stock levels, performing opening/closing checks, and ensuring food quality.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hospitality and catering, ideally within a ski catering environment

  • Working knowledge of HACCP procedures

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work autonomously

  • Well-developed organisational skills

  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred

  • Friendly, flexible, and enthusiastic

  • Excellent customer service skills for guests of all ages

  • Understanding of adult and child holiday needs

  • Knowledge of snow sports is advantageous

  • Basic French language skills preferred

  • Availability for the whole season (Mid-November 2023 to end of April 2024)

  • Current Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate, ideally Level 3

  • DBS checks and at least two references required

Responsibilities:

  • Help run meal services, delivering all meals to guests

  • Ensure daily Health and Safety checks in the kitchen

  • Manage stock levels

  • Provide excellent holiday experiences for guests

  • Offer in situ training and support to team members

  • Assist with mise en place across the menu

  • Uphold the reputation of Ski Famille and Ski Vertigo

Description: As a Bar Supervisor, you'll manage our hotel bar, providing guests with high-quality service in a family-friendly environment. Report to the Food and Beverage Manager and play a key role in assisting them.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in bar work and hospitality

  • Self-motivated with strong organisational skills

  • Friendly, flexible, and enthusiastic

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Understanding of adult and child holiday needs

  • Knowledge of snow sports is advantageous

  • Basic French language skills preferred

  • Availability for the whole season (Mid-November to end April)

  • DBS checks and two references required

  • Minimum age: 21 years

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure bar turnover and meet financial targets

  • Maintain health and safety standards

  • Welcome and serve customers

  • Manage receipts and stock levels

  • Maintain cleanliness and equipment

  • Implement HACCP processes

  • Adhere to internal operating rules and uniform standards

  • Occasionally run lunch service for the bar/restaurant
